About ReMOAT Technologies
We believe web debugging should be instant, collaborative, and architecturally secure. ReMOAT connects developers directly to user browsers via encrypted peer-to-peer WebRTC channels—with zero cloud server storage.
Why We Built ReMOAT
Reproducing customer bugs has historically been one of the most frustrating bottlenecks in software engineering. Teams spend hours asking for screenshots, deciphering cryptic error traces, or paying hundreds of dollars per month for heavy session replay tools that upload user screens and DOM data to third-party databases.
In 2024, our founders launched the project under the name Telepath, aiming to create an instant telepathic link between user browsers and developer workstations. As our customer base grew to include enterprise SaaS, fintech, and healthcare applications, a critical insight emerged: telemetry without privacy is a major liability.
In 2026, we evolved into ReMOAT (remoat.dev)—combining real-time Remote inspection with a defensible security Moat. Our architecture ensures that customer data never touches cloud servers, completely eliminating GDPR, HIPAA, and data breach liabilities.
Our Core Architectural Pillars
Zero Cloud Storage
100% peer-to-peer data streaming over DTLS 1.3 encrypted WebRTC DataChannels. Sessions are never recorded, persisted, or stored in databases.
Sub-10ms Live Telemetry
Stream live console outputs, network request waterfalls, and DOM mutations in real time with bidirectional REPL code evaluation.
Under 5 KB Footprint
Ultra-lightweight SDK that adds zero noticeable overhead to Core Web Vitals (LCP/TBT), battery life, or mobile CPU performance.
