Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 4, 2026 • Effective Date: September 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ReMOAT website (remoat.dev), the developer portal (portal.remoat.dev), the ReMOAT SDK (@remoat.dev/sdk), or the ReMOAT Chrome Extension, you enter into a binding agreement with ReMOAT Technologies Private Limited ("ReMOAT", "we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our services.

2. Permitted Use & Ethical Debugging Standards

ReMOAT is provided exclusively for legitimate software development, quality assurance, customer support, and performance troubleshooting. You agree that:

3. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

Your Data is Yours: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all source code, DOM structures, network payloads, console logs, and applications inspected using ReMOAT. ReMOAT claims zero ownership, license, or right over any code or telemetry transmitted during debugging sessions.

ReMOAT retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in the ReMOAT platform, logos, software SDKs, documentation, and user interfaces.

4. Service Availability & SLA Guarantees

We aim for 99.99% availability across our global WebRTC signaling brokers and TURN relay infrastructure. Paid Enterprise plans include contractually guaranteed uptime service level agreements (SLAs), dedicated support escalation, and scheduled maintenance notifications.

5. Subscriptions, Fees & Cancellation

Paid developer plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via PCI-DSS certified payment processors (Stripe / Razorpay). You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time directly from the developer portal. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the active billing cycle with no cancellation penalties.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

ReMOAT is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReMOAT Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal action or dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
