End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)
All data transferred between the client browser and the developer workstation is encrypted with DTLS 1.3 and AES-GCM-256 at the transport layer. The signaling broker only assists in ICE candidate exchange and never has access to the decryption keys.
NAT Traversal & Fallback Strategy
- Host & STUN Direct Connection: 85%+ of connections connect directly peer-to-peer via UDP.
- TURN Relay Fallback: For corporate firewalls and symmetric NATs, traffic is routed through encrypted TURN relays without inspection.
- Backpressure Flow Control: ReMOAT monitors
bufferedAmountLowThresholdto prevent packet loss during heavy DOM streaming.
